Persons who qualify to apply for a visa to Ghana
All persons with the exception of those who fall under any of the following categories:
- A person determined by the requisite authorities to be a security risk
- A person against whom there is a valid deportation order in force
Travel documents
- All visitors to Ghana must possess a valid national passport.
- A national of any member state of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) visiting Ghana may, however, produce a travel certificate in lieu of a passport.
- ECOWAS members are: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
